Double Date @ Malacca!

This is quite last minute where I received a sms from my babe, Vincy
Asking me and my belived want to join her for Malacca one day trip.
Well yeah! We're on!

***Its been quite some time ago ><
It's a bright and sunny (well, i rather say hot) Sunday 16th Feb.
Morning me n my beloved waiting for Vincy and her's beloved to fetch us at BTS.
Then... we headed to Malacca!!
Well, I can say I slept the whole way to Malacca!
Really sorry about that though.. Double thumbs up to Joshua who drove the long way to Malacca!
Before reaching Malacca, we went to A&W at a R&R to get some light refreshments.
Done, its Malacca food hunting time!

First stop, Chicken Rice Ball for lunch!!
In case you didnt know which shop we went,
it is the one opposite "San Su Gong" and has a small round-about beside the shop.
Dont worry, you will see many people no matter local or tourists (mostly tourists) are queing up under the hot sun.
Even though we are Malaysians, we still queue up for so long just to eat the famous chicken rice ball.
We waited for around half an hour to one hour and finally it's our turn!! *touched*
We were so hungry that we forgot to take pictures LOL
Ordered 20 (30? forgot ><) rice balls and half a chicken, and finished all @@

Next, we went to Jonker Street.
I really feel like I'm in my hometown, Penang when I reached there.
There are many old shops beside the road, as well as small stalls by the locals.
I can feel and smell the richness of heritage as I walked pass them.
Some stuffs that they sell, you can hardly find it in KL.
As the weather turning hotter, we need something cold. Guess what??
We went to a shop to eat cendol pulut, sago gula melaka and laksa.
At first we want to eat Laksa Nyonya (which is Asam Laksa-sour taste)
But then the lady told us that they only left Laksa Kahwin, which is Nyonya Laksa + Baba Laksa
Baba Laksa is Curry Laksa where they put santan (coconut milk) inside the soup, and it is not so sour but more to spicy.
We heard before that their Laksa Kahwin is quite well-known, so why not give it a try?
No harm trying right? xP
This is my first time eating Laksa Kahwin, and actually tastes good! *thumbs up*
Sour + Spicy = Laksa Kahwin
And it looks like this... >>

Laksa Kahwin

The love birds ;P

Now, we're so full so we went to explore Jonker Street a bit.
Found many interesting toys and equipments especially the scalp massager hahahaa
We keep playing it when we see a shop which sells it xD (naughty us :P)
Then the sweet sweet couple (Vincy and Joshua) found a cute egg shape ice cream,
but unfortunately I cannot eat T^T
I always think that they are cute couple :)
They always have fun with each other, when they are together, they are like small kids,
even when you are watching them, you will smile and laugh seeing that :)
Stay sweet, both of u ^^

Must stay sweet~! ^^
Now that our stomach has been fed, its time for our camera to eat! xD
Hahaha we cant control our smile xD

Oopsy.. *blushes* :P

This pic, he fire the canon and its so loud! Haha does this pic look like that?

This photo below is the hardest to take coz most of the time there will be a lot of tourists at you background photo-bomming LOL.

I personally like this windmill ^^
It's raining by the time, so we head for dinner!
Super famous 万里香 Satay Celup in Malacca!

`
Saliva coming out! hahaha super delicious~~
With my beloved <3
To all the "lala" (clams) and "siham" lovers out there!
This place will be your heaven!
Supper! Fresh lala(s) and siham(s) at a small backlane near Taman Bunga Raya!
sorry that I do not have the exact address ><
But it is near 贵夫人 building, near the traffic light.
You can opt for half cooked or fully cooked. They do not fry them, but steam them.

Heaven! haha

Hmm, this marks an end to Malacca one day trip.
I will sure miss this place and of course the food! ><
Vincy & Joshua, it's been a pleasure and really happy to go on a trip with you guys!
We can start planning our next trip! ^^
p/s: Looking forward to it ;))

Its time to go back now. Heartfelt goodbyes to Malacca. I will come again~! ^^
