I'm Back!
Finally! Back to my home sweet home, Penang!
Anyway sorry for disappearing so long,
been really busy past few days.
This is a "throwback" post as I dont have the chance to post it on that day itself.
Had a quick lunch with my besties at Tous Les Jours @ WOLO Bukit Bintang!
Many people have difficulties pronouncing the name which is "Too Leh Joo".
This one at Bukit Bintang is the second outlet which comes after the one at Bangsar.
TLJ Bukit Bintang is a two storey building with vintage bicycle just beside the entrance.
It is a French inspired Korean bakery that serves a big variety of pastries, cakes, breads and even main courses (soup, salad, breakfast menu), not forgetting the beverages.
I ordered a grilled mushroom tartine.
Honestly, i really hate eating eggs that are not hard-boiled.
But i gave it a try but "poking" it and let it shower all over the place LOL
AND.... it turns out that it actually tastes good! omg 0.o
Anyways, the bread is slightly soggy cuz of the pesto between the mushroom and the bread.
However, overall it tastes great :D
Don't be cheated by its size, after i finish everything, FULL!
(and i can say i'm a really big eater where my friends always call me DBKL =.=)
My beloved had a BBQ chicken quesadilla;
I love the sauce, and especially the quesadilla is dipped with the sauce, heaven taste!
It is a rich tomato taste but a little bit spicy touch in it.
My cutest friend had a "something" caramelised banana ricotta. (forgot the name paiseh ><)
This is super filling, as the toast is in big portion
In addition the caramelised banana goes well with the "french toast".
Now... Dessert Time!
How can I end my lunch without a sweet touch? =P
Tous les jours is well-known for its desserts (be it pastries, breads or cakes)

My friend ordered a tuna cheese tartine.
Which tastes really really awesome! I fell in love with this one and surely will order this one on the next visit!
Rich flavours of the cheese, and the tuna is also match really well.
