K-Pot "Korean Affair"

Had a korean affair yesterday!
Oh ya, Happy (belated) Fathers' Day to my dad!
Saw thousands of posts regarding Father's Day and things like "I love u daddy" on FB! o.O
And there's a very good quote here:
"I don't always show and express my love to my parents,
but when I do, it is not on Facebook."

So here's what happened.
Yesterday the shop that we wanted to go was closed, no luck.
That's when we saw another korean shop at the same row,
and the menu looks inviting!
It is located at Tanjung Bungah, near to Island Plaza.
We were greeted by the tauke sou (restaurant owner's wife) at the entrance while we're considering whether to have our dinner here or not.
I knew she is a korean by her strong accent in her English.
This married couple is so friendly and I really feel like home here.
Their two beautiful daughters are so adorable! can't help it when i see kids xP

Playing with lens cover :D

Now let the photos do the talking!
This is how the interior looks like;

We ordered four main dishes and two "snacks"
We are also given 2 sets of complimentary side dishes as we are 4 in a table

I've ordered my All-Time Favourite! -- Soft tofu stew served with rice

When im eating halfway, I realised there are prawns inside!!
OHMYGOODNESS!!
FYI Im allergic to prawns, so don't feed me anything with prawns >.<
Many people mistaken that I can't eat seafood;
in fact i can eat seafood, only except prawnsss...

So I've exchanged it with my dad's japjaeng rice

Japjaeng rice

These are what we ordered that night;

Mum's fried ramen
Just a gentle reminder, if you would like to order the ramen,
you can request for less spicy, as the normal one is super spicy,
unless you're really a big fan of "hot&spicy"
And the owner will fulfill all your requests as they are really very friendly!
The owner saw us taking photos with our dslr and even volunteered to borrow us his special lens haha
And the wife asked my mum whether she needs a soup, afraid of the ramen is too spicy for my mum

Bro's squid topped rice
This is also special request
My bro cant take spicy food, so the owner used korean soy sauce to cook this dish, instead of the ori spicy sauce

Next, sure will not miss out Teobokki whenever we visit any korean restaurant!

The taste is really up to par!

Besides, I like the texture to be not too soft and not too hard as well.
In our words, we said that it is very "Q", which means it has a springy texture and let your teeth do some work

Sometimes it feels like eating a marshmallow but a little bit more tender.

Moreover the sauce is not too spicy as well. It has the aroma of the onions and well accompanied with a number of fishcakes~

Sundae

I felt that the "sundae" (in korean, not the ice cream) is quite special as this is my first attempt

However the taste was a bit "special" as well and it is up to personal's liking, as some will not like the taste when you first try it.

If im not mistaken, it has blood inside, but im not really sure though.

I only remembered once when I watched a travel programme, it introduced this as 血肠 @@

The small sauce dish that you can see here contains the seasoning for the sundae. You just need to dip the sundae with the seasoning. It tastes salty so be reminded not to be greedy! Haha.

My bro said that it contains salt and plum powder, as well as black pepper. (Is it?? )
Do anyone know what is the seed-like thing? lol
Too bad I've forgotten to ask the owner about this.

After our meal,  I thanked the owner for their great food and I had a great dinner!
Komapsimida, massisseoyo <3
The bill came, 90+ for the total of four of us,
totally worth it.
Heading home with a extremely tired face but happy stomach haha

p/s: They will have their Facebook Page by maybe next month. Surely will support them by then!

Photo with the owner and his wife. =D
